Mini Wedding Cake

When I was called out and asked to make a wedding cake for a 50th anniversary I was like,..uh,.. ewwww. Maybe it is because I am a perfectionist. or something,.. but it was for someone I knew through (PTA) so I agreed,... and this is the result, maybe I could be validated

Fondant Cakes

Not something I do often, but something I have done. I enjoy working with fondant just because it is a lil like adult play doh. Plus there are many magical things you can create with fondant, butter cream and cake... and here are a few of my creations.

My Sparkle celebrated her 7th birthday and she wanted Hello Kitty,.. EVERYTHING,.. so she shall ask and on her special day she did receive!

With That, I have only this to show you as a gift for a very talented warm teacher of a style of dance that sings to my soul. Irish dancing has long been something my heart leaped at the sound,. and when I found out my daughtes have an opportunity to create magic with their feet I did all that one must to sign them up. So this sweet cookie was my 1st try @ a ghille an Irish dancing shoe,.. so this is for you ;)

Treats for Teachers

Once a year I am asked to make tasty treats for the staff at our Amazing Private School. This year I delighted in many thoughts and came up with a few ideas.
 So here they are!
All Fall themed of course!
Flourless chocolate cake with a ganache glaze
Apple Cinnamon olive oil  mini cakes with a brown sugar Cinnamon butter cream
Double chocolate cookie truffles
and my famous shortbreads
